Seen this place for years and finally tried it. I was in Aaw. Their pizza is fresh and tasty. The tomato and basil are fresh this is nothing sprinkled on out of a jar. You pay for what you get. The price was not expensive either. Very saucy and didn’t need to ask for extra toppings.
Solid food. I have ordered from here many times. Pizzas are consistently good, but so is other stuff too! I like the calzones. Picture is of a chicken, spinach & sum dried tomatoes one. It's huge! My son got buffalo wings tonight. They are also GOOD!
This is our favorite tavern style in the area. I love the cheese ratio, it's less which to me is more. It doesn't make it as greasy. We always get it we'll done too. Makes for a nice and crispy crust.
We’ve been ordering this pizza the past 5+ years and it’s the best classic Chicago tavern pizza around. They’re open late, have extremely fast delivery, good prices, consistent taste. 10/10
This is THE local spot for pizza in the western suburbs. Pictured is the Stuffed pepperoni pizza. I've also had their Stuffed meat lovers. The ingredients are all top rate and you can taste it. Excellent service. It's the real pizza stop in Chicago.
Legit tavern style thin crust pizza. Sausage. Well done. This place nails it. Big hunks of fennel sausage. Nice char on the cheese. Bertolli’s was a recommendation; and it lived up to the hype. We’ll be back.
The Chicago Bears play late today so I decided to take Bertollis River Jumbo Pizza Thin Crust (Half Jalapeno and Half Cheese) to my Best Friends House. Pizza was ready in 25 minutes pretty fast customer service! Nice Ambiance of the Bertollis River Pizza. Definitely recommend this Pizza Joint to All :)
I had to break this bag open in the car lol it was smelling so good. My pizza was loaded with sausage meat in every bite. The sauce has just the right balance not too sweet not too "tangy". The cheese is fresh! This is a great thin crust pizza, one of my Chicagoland favorites. There are tables to sit and eat but there are no public restrooms.
The stuffed pizza was just as I remembered from 25 years ago. It was great to see they were still in business and now expanded. The pizza was amazing as it always has been.
The pizzas are truly delicious !! very thin crust, fresh ingredients, and a 10/10 flavor. Definitely one of the best pizza spots in Oak Park. My only suggestion is that if you plan to dine in, come with some extra time since they have a lot of delivery orders, so service can be a bit slow. However, the flavor makes it absolutely worth it, and I would definitely come back. The service is very good, though there is only one server, so table service can take a little longer.
